How important is it be truthful in life. Do you think it’s worth speaking the truth at any cost? Does it mean it’s ok to hurt the people you care about in this process?
I don’t have an answer to these questions. But I have learnt since my childhood that one should always speak truth, no matter what. You may sometimes feel it’s wrong and unjustifiable in some situations but in the long run it is always a good thing.
I am pretty sure that in the path of truth you are certain to face lot of obstacles but if you persist, then you will find lot of good folks that will help you to tackle these hurdles. As in life all good things come at a price.
Now lets see why one needs to lie. We lie because we don’t want to tell the truth. Then most often to cover that lie we follow up with a few more lies. One lie leads to another which leads to another and than it becomes never ending vicious circle of lies and wrongness.
It is super easy to lie to someone but significantly challenging to be always truthful. I would say it’s a daunting task to be a propagator of truth. But if you are being truthful it makes everything a lot simpler and trivial. It’s worth noting that if you tell the truth, then you don’t have to remember anything 🙂
Well since I am speaking so much about being truthful does it mean that I am always truthful? Well I must admit not always but I am trying my best 🙂
